We celebrated a really wonderful Easter. The Cook Curtis clan made their way up to St. Thomas where we were greeted with loving arms and open hearts. Ron Belek had even saved Dad's seat. During the mass they asked for people to pray for "Bob Cork" and we chucked with the Belek's and the McLaughlin's about how much my dad is going to love that story. And he sure did.
It was a great day with Easter egg hunts, east egg coloring, lamb eating and family.
My mom and my aunts spent most of the day over at my parents house while we kept the louder activity at our house. We discovered a few new ways to keep Bob more comfortable and he made sure that everything was done to his specifications even though his ability to talk is greatly diminished.
One quick story:
After getting the bed made correctly my father indicated to my mom and my aunts that he wanted to tell them something. They all leaned in all seriousness for the words of wisdom and this is what they received: a twinkle in the eye and "It's great being the boss".
